Me

I’m what you might call a “full-stack” or “generalist” data scientist. I do everything from:

• Working with business folks to figure out what problems need solving / scoping out solutions
• Finding and acquiring the necessary data
• Data engineering
• ETLs
• Data quality management
• A little bit of data governance
• Data analysis
• Data visualizations
• Presenting data / data “storytelling”
• Dashboards
• Creating data tools / products
• Modeling / machine learning
• Deploying, monitoring, and maintaining models
• Data-driven process improvement
• Operational “experiments” (a.k.a. AB Testing for humans)
• Teaching others about data
• Almost certainly some other stuff I’m forgetting

I currently work for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. For legal reasons, I can’t really talk about my work there beyond saying I do all the stuff above.
